Where
do ticks live?
Ticks are reinforced throughout
Süddeutschland encountered, but by spreading their "hosts" up
in the north of Germany. A particularly vulnerable Baden
Wuerttemberg, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. The Lake District
is heavily affected. Only in urban areas such as large cities,
one finds it difficult. Across Europe, the tick is now
"settled" has become. Italy, France, Austria and Holland and
England as well as all Eastern European states have ticks
meanwhile the war.
The dreaded holly and the tick Saugorgane are located in front
of her head during the opening to breathe behind the last pair
of legs in place.
The male tick is by scent of the female
scene. After mating the male dies. An adult female ticks can be
up to 3000 eggs sit. The larvae are initially a few millimeters
in size and have no one but only six legs. The larvae require
for their further development of much blood. You get it from
small mammals such as mice or hedgehogs. Even a single blood
meal extends from the larvae to calmly for several weeks to
grow and mature them. Then, the larval skin and reach the
second stage of development. They become "nymphs". You are
stronger than the larvae and already have all eight legs. The
nymphs take place, after two shots of blood, a second skin and
are now fully developed as a tick. Because they need to survive
a lot of blood closes at this point the cycle again.
The ongoing climate change is under strong
suspicion, which in recent years has greatly increased tick
population to have caused.
